Ideas for a physics project?

Okay so for my physics class I have to build a 10 step Rube Goldberg machine that pops or deflates a balloon as the final step.
It cannot have anything school inappropriate like explosives or weapons..

I also have the choice of doing it virtually. But I cannot find the site/software to do this. I WOULD HIGHLY LIKE TO DO IT VIRTUALLY!!!
So much easier and CHEAPER than going any buying stuff to build this project.

But any ideas would be great.

Here is a suggestion for a part of it. The piece of the project that actually does the popping might be a pin or needle embedded in a Styrofoam ball that you can purchase at a craft store.
