Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
I heard the Mars Orbiter is in safe mode after being hit by a cosmic ray. Is it Safe mode with Command prompt?

It is highly unlikely that the Mars Orbiter runs Windows, most likely it is running a custom operating system allowing engineers on the ground to control it.
