The show was on in 1980. The host was Carl Sagan and there were 13 episodes.

Its host was a very famous and world known astronomer Dr Sagan.
I believe it was between 6 to 8 years that it was on PBS.

It ran in 1980, but has been rebroadcast periodically since. The host was the late Carl Sagan.
