Excellent Article:

Fast Facts:
1, German theorist propose that superstar - stars thousands of time the mass of the sun are producing aluminum 26.
2. Aluminum 26 is believed to be wide spread through the Universe
3. The conventional view was galaxy explosions or supernovas could produce aluminum 26. The explosion occur once a century and could not explain the high emission of Aluminum 26, says Dr. William Fowler. There are 40 Novas a year.
4. The discover of Aluminum 26 is "one of the important developments in high energy astrophysics", says Dr. Leventhal.
5. German astrophysicist believe that positrons and aluminum have a common origin.
6. Aluminum 26 decays in magnesium 26 and emitts a gamma ray at 1.81 million electron volts.
7. Aluminum has a half life of 740,000 years
8. Aluminum 26 could be synthesized inside any star burning hydrogen at extremely high temperature, says Dr. Alastair Cameron
