The general answer to this question is no. Electricity follows the path of least resistance. If you are wet, the resistance of a human body is cut in half. As a result you are statistically at a larger risk for being effected by lightning. I came to know about this years ago when I was in highschool. verthorizo is correct. It is not safe to be in bath while there is lightning
