Do Quantum Celluar Automata transistors exist?

Quantum computers require large number of quantum switches working together as a group. Where is the current technology?

We do not have quantum computers, but they have done research into it as early as 1960's or something. It's imperfect technology, as right now we have no quick way of decoding the data, but it would be much faster than computers today.

D-Wave claims to have an 28 qbit Quantum machine. Why do you consider this machine not a quantum computer?
