Zheng He's fleets visited Arabia, East Africa, India, Indonesia and Thailand (at the time called Siam), dispensing and receiving goods along the way.12 Zheng He presented gifts of gold, silver, porcelain and silk; in return, China received such novelties as ostriches, zebras, camels, ivory and giraffes.

According to the 1421, Zheng He continue on in voyage to North and South America. Have you read the book, "1421"?

I believe Menzies referred to other Chinese voyages after Zheng He´s. There is another book of him, called 1434 "The Year a Magnificent Chinese Fleet Sailed to Italy and Ignited the Renaissance" were he accounts Chinese voyages beyond the Cape of Good Hope, up to Europe, Italy, etc.

His findings suggest Chinese navigators (not Zheng He) landed with other expeditions at the California coast, Mexico’s Pacific coast, South America, Peru, Brazil, Puerto Rico, US north Atlantic coast, Italy, the Mediterranean, discovered Greenland and the Antarctic among other places.

Some of these Chinese navigators were Hong Bao, Zhou Man, Zhou Wen and Yang Qing.

It is worth noted that Gavin Menzies was captain of the British submarine HMS Rorqual, today he is retired and his background as a sailor and commander of Royal Navy ships between 1959 to 1970, gave him the knowledge and credibility to assert the conclusions of his books.
