Did Hubble's red shift observation prove that steady state theory was incorrect?

Did the homogeneous expansion of the universe disprove steady state?

Hubbles red shift observation wasn't the only thing that he did to support the big bang theory. The big bang theory you also got to see as a theory just like steady state, and they are theory's for a reason, ha, because they haven't been proven. NASA has done a lot of research on the subjects and have substantial evidence pointing towards the fact that Hubble theory is the best for proving the upbringing of time.
