Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Can Cold fusion be explained from the viewpoint of zero point energy?
1. Deuterium gas does spontaneously fuse and the hydrogen density in Palladium is less than advantageous unless an external power source is introduced.
2. 5. X-rays of Palladium through a process called crystallography reveal that the closest that a deuterium nuclei when inside palladium is 0.17 nanometers, more than double the bond distance in deuterium gas molecules of 0.07 nanometers
Therefore, the only way for fusion to occur in Palladium is an external source of energy. Did a resonance field pull energy in from the Dirac Sea, igniting the hydroden in the Palladium, and creating a fusion reaction?
