It is possible that there will be a break through in the next ten years. As countries try to find alternative energy sources than oil most likely these countries will provide money and the equipment to further the studies of antihydrogen.

CERN shot an anti-proton at a xeon cluster. When the anti-proton got close enough to xeon, an electron-positron pair was produced resulting in anti-hydrogen.
