"By the descrption on various websites it seemed like the white cover version and the dark cover versions are the same DVD, just with different release dates. So I bought the dark one (because of the $), and man, did I missed out! The white one is actually a double disc version with making off and tons of featurettes, the dark one has nothing but the text commentary (although a very cool one). Anyone who has the white version knows if theres an AUDIO commentary from James?"

Strangely, I also checked out the digitalbits, (http://www.thedigitalbits.com/reviews/abyssse.html) and they also have a black edtition cover, but are discussing it as having two disks. It seems that the US black edition is only the 1-disc, with the text commentary, and the US white one is the 'all in' one.
Digitalbits reviewed the UK version, which I presume is the US White Edition.

When checking at Amazon, the black one indeed states:
Number of discs: 1

White edition
Number of discs: 2
