Is Avatar, the new movie by James Cameron going to be 3D only?

There is no IMAX near where I live, will I be able to watch this movie?

As of now I am pretty sure its only going to be in 3-D at the IMAX theater.

Sure you have seen this already but james cameron says himself that is all in 3-D.
So you better plan a road trip to the nearest IMAX soon. Good luck.

yes unfortunately it is 3d only but you should be able to see it in your local cineplex
