How many years are between the events in Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars - Return of the Jedi?
I looked at various "Star Wars Timelines" online, and they are pretty confusing. They are very detailed and in a different standard time than normal time it seems.

Not a problem - I was curious myself, and knew of http://www.starwars.com in the past. In one of the most recent updates, it appears that they added synopsis information.
