I occasionally use the Pythagorean theorem, and various mathematical formulas, as a 3D modeler and artist. It's funny, but math comes in handy at the oddest times. They are especially useful in hard surface modeling when you need to make sure isoparameters match up and so on.

I don't use it, though I know that some people do, I think it's just good to learn the foundations in case you need it later on. There are alot of thing you learn in school that you never use again, but a well rounded education is worth quite a bit!

I'm a math tutor and I've never used it except to teach it to others.

I never used it.
It was a waste of my time learning it.
