Scariest looking space creature(s) you've ever seen in a sci-fi TV show or film?

Looking for some freaky, scary looking fictional creatures from outer space ... feel free to post just a single example if there's one in particular that stands out for you; however please do post several examples if you have them. The more the merrier/scarier!

I'm interested to see if anybody can come up with some that are scarier than the ones in the video posted below :-)

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I'm a big fan of a UK sci-fi comedy series from the '90s called Red Dwarf, and it had its share of scary space creatures, for instance

Gelfs

The Mutton Vindaloo monster, who evolved from one of the ship's curries

And this guy

But the crew of Red Dwarf also encountered the Psirens, alien monsters with a fondness for human brains who could take on the form of a person associated with their victim, in an attempt to get them into a relaxed state before scooping out their brains!

Below is a video of one of these scary Psirens at work.

When I was a kid, I thought that the critters were pretty frightening. Of course, as an adult I don't have fear of them, but they do still look pretty nasty.

I also thought that the Xenomorphs in Aliens were effectively frightening, but I was older at the time, so they didn't creep me out.
