The Royal Guardsmen mined the "Snoopy" thing for all it was worth, also releasing the singles "The Return of the Red Baron" and "Snoopy for President."

It's the Royal Guardsmen. "Snoopy vs. the Red Baron" was their big hit in 1966. "Snoopy's Christmas" was the followup hit in 1967. It's pretty much a rewrite of the same song, with new lyrics about Christmas and a bit of "O Tannenbaum" at the beginning. The Royal Guardsmen mined the "Snoopy" thing for all it was worth, also releasing the singles "The Return of the Red Baron" and "Snoopy for President."
