Unfortunately, I think Coldplay will win, despite the fact that the majority of the other nominees deserve it more. Coldplay is a very industry-friendly name and appeals to a broader base than any of the other artists nominated.

Can't you see it now in the advertisements for their next album '2009 Grammy Award Winners Coldplay present their next album..'

Let's face it, the Grammy's are all about politics and business as opposed to actually rewarding those who made the best music in a given year.

Kid Rock had a big hit this year with "All Summer Long" and definitely due for one. I am going to say he'll win it hands down.

I think Coldplay is going to win, they are performing after all!
Metallica is the underdog and Kid Rock is my favorite!

hey lesliec what do you even know about Metallica "the underdog." Copared to their last album St. Anger this is one of metallica's best and one hell of a comeback after most of their fans abandoded them. Or are u one of those people who say "yeah i love Metallica, they play that song called uhh uhh uhh uhhhh One right. #@*! coldplay they dont even deserve their name CAPITALIZED!

While unfortunately I think Coldplay has the best shot in this category (I liked the album but did not think it was their best), I am secretly hoping The Raconteurs pull off the upset.

This is a tough one but I think Kid Rock will win it. His album was huge and he still hasn't licensed him music for digital downloads.

The Raconteurs are the obvious underdogs here.
