What is 1st and Amistad in reference to, anything? (from The Fray's song "You Found Me."

I love this song, but it seems like there is more to that reference.

I think the point of 1st and Amistad is to reference the fact that God is everywhere and that corner just happens to be an example. I really think this site explains it best:

Being from Denver, and also where The Fray is from, 1st and Amistad is an actual intersection in town.

Amistad is the Spanish (latin base) word for friendship. So... 1st Friendship?

1st and Amistad is meant to refer to a street corner, I don't think it means anything more than that.

Amistad also means 'friendship' in Spanish.

I went to Google maps and searched for First and Amistad. There is such a location. A
Address:
1st St & W Amistad Ave
Quemado, TX 78877

Google has real images of the intersection. But I didn't see God.
