What are some rock/pop songs that glorify California or LA?

I'll give 2 examples (please do not repeat them):

Listen to the lyrics ... "sometimes i feel my only friend is the city i live in, the city of angels." The song is about his relationship with the city. RHCP have a bunch of california songs. But i didn't want to keep repeating the same artist.
