-A drop of about 10% to 40% is natural as the oil warms up, depending upon the engine and how cold it was when you started it. As long as you have at roughly 10 psi for every 1000 RPM, or more, you are fine.
-If you fall below that ratio, see if the oil is overfilled. If so it could get foamy and cause a low pressure condition.

Too late for the tip, but I'd like to add a couple of comments to help you. -A drop of about 10% to 40% is natural as the oil warms up, depending upon the engine and how cold it was when you started it. As long as you have at roughly 10 psi for every 1000 RPM, or more, you are fine.
-If you fall below that ratio, see if the oil is overfilled. If so it could get foamy and cause a low pressure condition.
