For a 2001 Ford Focus, on the side door mirrors, is the metal plate included in a replacement mirror kit you buy from Autozone?

I snapped the driver's side mirror off my 2001 Ford Focus yesterday. The mirror itself is not cracked at all. It's fine. It's just the metal mounting plate the mirror was connected to that is damaged. It's snapped. One part is connected to the mirror still, and the half is still mounted to the car. If I buy a replacement mirror assembly from Autozone, will it include that plate?

You could ask Autozone if they sell that bracket. If not a Ford dealer or many online parts houses probably sell just the bracket.

I got this fixed yesterday, and my mechanic confirmed that the bracket does indeed come with a new mirror install kit.
