Recent change making voting transparent has possibly exposed previously hidden info when voting for best answers?

Recently a change was made to make voting more transparent, I think due to this change the voting system now has a flaw in it. (I'm fairly new to the site so it could have been like this before that change but I have only noticed it since then).
The issue is that now when you go to a question to vote on the best answer you can see who has voted for each answer BEFORE you cast your vote. Once you vote you can see the % of votes that each answer has received which implies that you intended the voting %'s to be hidden until AFTER the use has cast their vote. However due to being able to see who has voted for each answer you can easily work out the % of votes for each answer BEFORE casting you vote.
As I said I'm not 100% sure that you wanted to keep the previous votes hidden until the user had cast their vote but if you did then this is no longer happening. If this is by design then feel free to ignore this comment :)
