I was definitely disappointed. A few episodes I felt like the final two would be the two selected, they were the "best stories" and pulled on emotional (and possibly rating) strings.

That being said, they were great stories and I wish both the cancer survivor and the chicken catcher long, fruitful and happy lives, but neither one says a) americas got talent (does anyone think of opera when they think of the US for example) or b) would I ever want to see in Vegas.

Based on the format of the prize (not necessarily the show itself) I was more inclined to root for magicians, instrumentalists (the guys from NH recycled something), dance crews. Something more exciting then a good story and a microphone.

Chicken catcher won and the next night he was on Conan singing a song, but really I don't see how he can pack the house in Vegas.

Again wish these folks and America in general the best, but the show needs some tightening and focusing.
