Nope, don't feel bad for them. They were leading an incredibly excessive lifestyle that they couldn't afford. Why does anyone NEED a $3 million mansion?
They could've lived extremely comfortably in a house 1/3 of that size and been just fine. It was vanity and greed that lead to this stumble in the road, and it's a lesson that a lot of Americans are learning who lived waaaaaay beyond their means during the good years with no thought for the future.
Lisa is the grasshopper, and I am the ant. Sure I didn't get to play in a mansion all through the nice seasons, but now that the winter's here, I'm nice and cozy holed up in my modest house. Grasshopper. Ant. It's a very old fable that's played out in modern real-life all the time.

Do you have sympathy for Lisa Wu Hartwell regarding losing her home to foreclosure?
Apparently ''The Real Housewives of Atlanta'' star Lisa Wu Hartwell lost her Georgia home to foreclosure recently after the $2.9 million mansion lost $1 million of its value.
Personally, I have no sympathy for her. She is a reality TV star married to a former NFL player. I would love to have a giant, expensive mansion like that. Thoughts?

They lost a million dollars or so due to a poorly judged real estate purchase. I feel sorry for them. They are probably not all that rich. Still, they didn't have to declare bankruptcy and could buy another home. So they are not too badly off. Being an ex-NFL player probably doesn't earn you much. I hope they are saving for retirement someday.
