This is an interesting blog about someone who went on a reality show as an exercise in performance art (http://bust.com/blog/2010/02/22/shaming-famewhores-part-ii-on-being-a-failed-famewhore.html). It's quite interesting what she had to say about the role she had to play and why she eventually got voted off - for breaking out of the narrow mold that they cast her in.
