As near as I can tell, the only English queens that would have died near 1543 would both have been wives of Henry VIII. His fifth wife, Kathryn Howard, was executed for adultery in 1542, but Kathryn had no children. His sixth wife, Catherine Parr, outlived Henry. She remarried and died in childbirth in 1548, but this child with her fourth husband was her first pregnancy - she had no children with Henry.
Henry VIII had only two heirs - Elizabeth, the daughter of his second wife, Anne Boleyn (a cousin of Kathryn Howard, Anne was also executed, for adultery and incest), and Edward, the son of his third wife, Jane Seymour. Edward became king at Henry's death in 1547, when he was only 9 years old. Edward did not survive to adulthood, and Elizabeth became queen in 1553.
