Many do not use ghost writers, and if any it's a very small percentage. If someone found out that a ghost writer was writing your 140 characters on what you are doing, I don't think they would be too happy about it. After attending the 140 characters conference, and hearing from a celebrity talk about their Twitter usage, most would rather not use a ghost writer. It's pointless, as it's not them.
