Maybe it's because I'm not a huge punk guy in the first place, but I always just felt the Buzzcocks' songs held up better, just more musical and multi-dimensional...even though I'm thinking the Damned were the ones to see live back in their heyday.

But that's coming from a song guy...closest thing to a favorite punk band I have is XTC...
