Punch Buggy No Punch Back! Ever play this game?

Video from the guy who came up with the game is on the Volkswagen Super Bowl Ad page. Got a Punch Buggy/Slug Bug or Volkswagen memory to share?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I definitely played this with friends when I was younger. Far and away the worst place to play this Mexico - when they stopped making the old VW Bugs in the US, they kept making them in Mexico. There are TONS of them down there - trips to Mexico have been known to cause significant bruising.

Once the new Bugs started showing up, it caused a great rift in this game (okay, maybe I'm overstating it) - do the new bugs count or not? I say not.

Yes, in elementry school. My dad taught me the game. I taught it to everyone on my bus to school.
There were certain parking lots and neighborhoods where we would always see a bug. Pity the kid who wasn't payin' attention =)

My entire life while growing up! I'm 20 years old and still have friends and family smacking me randomly whenever they see one of those things, hahah
