Besides the bad-humor answers that might include dictionary definitions, the fact that we are living (and thus the meaning of life itself) is that our Creator has a purpose for our existence. I subscribe to Jesus Christ's teachings to explain that purpose, which is summarily laid out in the Bible.

Life takes on more meaning if you allow yourself to truly love and be loved in the fullest sense of the word. That is my experience. It is painful and at the same time growth promoting and fulfilling to be in a love relationship that helps you to discover yourself and life itself. Life becomes more meaningful in relation to others. Thank you for that question!
