Definitely worth $10. I think the only real criticism is that the game is too small. It didn't take me long to finish and I have not been a hardcore gamer for ages, but even at $40-50, I got 40-50 hours of entertainment out of it, which at $1/hr is not too bad (certainly less than going to see a movie). There are only a dozen tracks (maybe) and 30 cars (maybe more), but there's enough variety for a good time and money is pretty easy to come by (although I did grind the one Daytona lap race over and over to get the money for the formula car).
Hehe, to go against what I just said about "hardcore" though, I drive with a wheel (4+ year old Logitech for GT4) and really like the simulator aspect. Not sure if the game is even fun without a wheel - I know I wouldn't play it without a wheel. If you are into the realism thing, there isn't really anything else out there.

I picked up Gran Turismo 5 Prologue used for $10, and I just wanted to know what everybody thought of it.
