PS3 or 360?
I've been looking to buy either a PS3 or Xbox 360, at first i was leaning toward the 360 (mainly because of halo 3 + FFXI), but then everyone starts telling me to look into PS3 and i got really excited reading some of the features that are no longer supported mainly "Other OS" (i think thats what it was called), and PS2 Backwards compatibility (FFXI isn't made for PS3 only PS2, FFXI is available for the 360), then i found they don't support either now, now i'm really bummed.... Another reason i wanted the PS3 was for FFXIV, but i just watched the demos of it on youtube and o.m.g that game looks ugly, i mean really ugly, even how the UI is laid out turns me off. IDK which i should get
the 360 is 100$ cheaper
the PS3 has free online play
the 360 (imo) seems to have better games
the PS3 has less hardware issues
the 360 has FFXI
the PS3 doesn't have FFXI, but has FFXIV (meh idk if thats a plus or not though)
right now walmart.com has: Xbox 360 Elite 120GB Console w/ Halo 3 + Forza 3, 1600 Points Card, 3 mo. Xbox Live Card, and Microsoft Play and charge kit. for 300$+tax+free shipping 5-7 days
Newegg and walmart have the PS3 120gb slim with 2 games (small selection) + 1 extra controller for about 400$+tax+shipping (no free shipping on walmart)
which do you suggest i get?

M$Whether you need a blu-ray player is a factor for getting a PS3 although I've recently preferred getting digital copies of movies to help save space and ease of use.
