Well... Iron Man, of course. Seriously... You probably want a costume that you can dance in. I would think something unique (not pre-bought).
I'm dead serious (and it fits with a school theme). How about you go as a piece of gum stuck to the underside of a desk? Paint yourself pinkish (wear a pink suit and paint your head pink) and wear a small table/desk on your head like a hat. No... really!
