Not quite yet. Apple is still putting the finishing touches on an API.
It stands to reason though that Apple will keep the API similar (if not the same) as the iPhone SDK.

These things however all rely on JavaScript and not in a stand alone programming language. This API (and examples) were designed to allow development of multitouch user interfaces on the iPhone.

Can you use the MacBook Pro trackpad and Java to make multi-touch applications?
I want to make a class or whatever in java and access it through processing.
