I love the detail of his suit in this pic. Look at the details on the lapels and the cuffs. And with pinstripe pants! This was a nice suit!

People forget that the Republicans started out as Radical liberals, wanting to emancipate the slaves no less. But after Teddy left to form his own party no progressive Republican made it to the top of their leadership.
