Will your child be taken if pot is found in your system when you give birth?

I have a friend who is trying to get pregnant but she refuses to stop smoking pot. I have heard rumor that if pot is found in your system your child will be taken by CPS...is this true? Is it only in certain states? Or does CPS need to be notified prior to the birth for them to step in and take the child?

They don"t test for it, so I don't know how they would find it. I got pulled over by police when I was like 8 months pregnant and they found a bag of weed in my purse, and i had to spend the night in jail, but other wise there was no other repercussions, they didn't test me or threaten to take my baby, (this was in Washington state). I don't suggest smoking pot while your pregnant, but done in moderation it does help with morning sickness. I have three kids and they are all normal, healthy and smart.
