And, as someone else said above, implanting with multiple embryos is actually a pretty common practice. The issue in this case is that the patient is not actually having trouble conceiving (as indicated by the six previous children).

Im not a doctor, but i dont see anything wrong if the woman is healthy enough to do it without any harm comming to the mom or the babies. Not to get to deep into the subject but i also think the income of the mother should be considered,so as not to put more of a strain on the goverment.

As I understand it, implanting multiple embryos is common practice with invetro. Invetro, a very expensive process, is very difficult to achieve, and, to raise the chances of getting pregnant, doctors will implant multiple embryos. That is why there are so many multiples born in invetro situations. I just don't get what all the hubub is about. This is NOT the first case of people having "too many" children... with or without invetro.
This question is paramount to saying that doctors who give women triple-F breast implants should be prevented from doing so. The patients know what they're getting themselves into. Or... do you think Dr. Kamrava should take the time to research their patients, do a background check on whether they can affort so many children, work up a history on their parenting skills, etc.?
Just wondering...

True, but Triple F breast implants usually don't cost hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money to deliver and support. My question was less from a "Ethical" medical standpoint than from the fact that the doctor doesn't seem to know or care how these children are going to be raised and cared for.

So you DO want a doctor to do extensive research on a patient and then look into their crystal ball to see if the patient would be the same/different?
You think MDs are expensive NOW...

Hey... Why should doctors be prevented from doing triple-F implants? What's WRONG with you people?!?!? More power to chicks with FFF racks (and the doctors who give them to them). They make the world a better place. And when it comes to taxpayer money - I say that any babe who wants triple-Fs should have them free of charge at taxpayer expense. Hell... let's even give her a couple of extra bucks just for the inconvenience of going and having it done. (Plus, she'll probably need some extra $$$ after she turns 30 and has to buy steel-reinforced bras for the rest of her life.) Anyway, why give trillions of dollars of taxpayer money to some fat, ugly Wall Street dudes in fancy suits when we could be using only a tiny fraction of that sum to beautify the country? "Triple-Fs for any chick that want's 'em" - now that would REALLY be "change we can believe in"!!!

actually the doctor that implanted her 8 embryo's is the same doctor who implanted her first 6. so he really didn't need to do any research. he was already her doctor.
