If you have access to pure clove a a single drop may be used on each socket to assist in relieving the pain. Otherwise, consider brewing a clove tea using whole or freshly crushed whole cloves steeped in hott water for at least 30 minutes. I would recommend swishing the tincture in your mouth for about 5 minutes. While clove is generally regarded as safe (GRAS), I probably would not swallow the tea.
All that being said, it has been a week - you might want to consult your dentist, dental surgeon, or physician.
Hope you feel better soon!

M$Go see your oral surgeon, seriously. If it's dry socket, he'll prescribe you ointment, probably with clove oil, to be applied with compresses. It should heal up within a week if so.
Good luck!
