I lean more towards free training. All my money goes into the equipment, nothing left over for paying for training.
I have gotten great information from sites like strobist.com. Even Ritz offers free classes if you buy from them.
The best training I've gotten so far was direct from Canon when they were demoing their stuff in my area.

How this gets best answer I have no idea. I asked for websites, not to go to things in person, which means the question was not answered.

http://strobist.com is a website mentioned in my post. I should have made it clickable. I saw that no one had posted anything, I thought it would be helpful to at least post the site I started on. I hope you find it somewhat useful. Sorry I didn't have more to share.
