Boy, this video shows the "snub".. I think you can see Hillary kinda miffed that the Carter's didn't stop. She's got that ".. What the h..." look. Of course, the Carter's are aging, so maybe it wasn't a snub, so much as some health related issue (e.g. early dementia etc.)
I'm just speculating.. don't know.

But why, TEENAYE did you think he was dead? He's been all over the news the last 6 months (due to the elections, etc.)

He is very much alive! In fact today there has been 'controversy' over him supposedly snubbing former President Clinton at the inauguration ceremony yesterday.

Jimmy Carter is very much alive. He didn't die. Yesterday he attended the inauguration for Barack Obama. The 44th president of the United States.

Good question Teenaye. This has been a highly debated question that baffles many. One thing most experts agree on is that he suffered brain trauma shortly after being swown in and has remained brain dead since. Brain trauma is a difficult issue especially for those close to the person who incured it. In jimmys case the problem became even more difficult. How could the family pull the plug on someone who still maintained all there bodily functions. Why let down the nation? ESP if they can survive off of life support. There have been many attempts to repair the damage and many say he has improved, but they are too close to the issue to decide. The best evidence there is that he remain brain dread is his last book.
