What is the quickest way to get Jan Brewer out of office? How do we recover from the statewide embarrassment brought on us 09/2009?

This is a replay of a question posed by mila_mm last week. (http://www.mahalo.com/answers/society-and-culture/what-is-the-quickest-way-to-get-jan-brewer-out-of-office-how-do-we-recover-from-the-statewide-embarrassment-brought-on-us-09-2009) As I am managing the Arizona page, I am attempting to get Arizona-related questions filling the page; this question did not, and mila was apparently unable to re-tag it for "Arizona". defolts had the best (and only) answer initially.

Clarification: Jan Brewer is the present Governor of Arizona, having succeeded Janet Napolitano.

I'm going to ignore any solutions involving illegal violence, since they are creepy to talk about.

Waiting until the 2010 elections is probably the fastest practical way. I'm unable to find any evidence of a serious Impeach Jan Brewer movement, and even if the ball were to start rolling now, it probably wouldn't get anywhere near the finish line before election day.

And yes, you better be ready to campaign against her. She's gearing up.

Thanks, David. Nah, no impeach or recall efforts (at this point); it is largely an intra-Republican battle, and the nominee will face a tough Democratic opponent in AG Terry Goddard.

Hey Doubleminaz & David, thanks for showing interest in this subject. I honestly would love to find a way to reverse Brewer's exclusion of disabled children (adult age), domestic partners, and students over 22 of Az state employees. Obviously this hits close to home, as I will be finding myself uninsured and uninsurable (due to car accident related pre-existing conditions) as of November 24th. I know I am not the only one, and equal rights need to be attained! If anyone has suggestions for attaining media coverage, increasing the awareness of Arizonans, or beginning some sort of movement to reverse this I will be 100% involved and do anything I can. Thanks again guys!

Mila, I’m sorry to hear about your coverage situation. I just heard a segment about that on KJZZ this week. But, you’re right, it has not received enough attention to get it changed. And, it is such a small amount of money compared to the deficit the state is facing. And, I tend to agree with the speakers that it is more the Republicans in the Legislature who have pushed for this – not the Governor.
I think KJZZ (and KUAT in Tucson), the New Times (and the Tucson Weekly) and the dailies are where there might be enough attention given to possibly get those cuts revoked.

Ha thanks, insurance never really is fun to deal with anyway! What I find very interesting about the situation with Jan Brewer, however, is that the Republicans have had a higher percentage drop in approval for her than any other party! It's on many sites, but this one seems to be the most concise:
