No. The NYT has always maintained that the story was always about McCain's relationship with lobbyists and that any implication of an affair was a minor portion of the article, if at all. The refusal to retract the story has more to do with that than any confirmation of an affair. The refusal to retract does not confirm an affair.

Since the NYT didn't retract their story, does that mean Vicki Iseman and John McCain did have an affair
