Seems like a witch hunt. I don't care what they say is the motivation, in the end it will accomplish nothing.

Just the idea that there is a commission, regardless of the findings, will make it seem like a presumption of guilt. Any findings that would contradict the purpose of said commission will be buried in the press and all that will be remembered will be that there was a panel looking into alledged abuses.
