Personally, I can understand his point and concern, but I don't think this is the right way to go about initiating social change.

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Is this guy for real? Jeff Elridge and his "Barbie Ban"?
We have a failing economy and his main concern is Barbie. By banning Barbie in West Virginia, will help sales in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Here is something else for Jeff Elridge to think about EBAY. You will never stop the sale of Barbie, you're just hurting store owners in West Virginia.

Yup, Jeff Eldridge, WV state senator introduced legislation on Tuesday to ban Barbie in West Virginia. In an interview he said he realizes the bill doesn't have much teeth, but wanted to get the conversation going. Personally, I can understand his point and concern, but I don't think this is the right way to go about initiating social change.
