Is Bristol Palin's pregnancy (due date 12/18/2008) even real?

I am not sure what her doctor gave as the due date, but the baby was born on December 27, 2008. She had a son and his name is Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston. The official statement mentions the errors but doesn't elaborate on them.
