No, I didn't sign it. The thing people don't understand about economics is that it's kind of not a science. There's just no way for them to test the theories of macro economics to figure out whether they're true or not. So, nobody really truly knows which way this stimulus is going to shake out.

That said, I look out for number one. If a stimulus bill means more money in my pocket instead of in the government's pocket then I look at that as a good day. The US federal government is wasting tons of money on abstinence-only education and busting state-licensed marijuana dispensaries in states with medical marijuana laws. The less money the government has to do that stuff, the happier I am. Some of that stuff should get better now that Obama is in office, but I'd rather play it safe. I'll keep my money, thank you.

Seems like FDR had a stimulus package called the "New Deal." As I recall, it kept America in a depression for 10 years after the market crashed. I think the concept has been tested. As the old saying goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

No. I'm in favor of the stimulus package. I think it should be increased with more spending for alternative energy and education, and the tax cuts should be eliminated.

No, when there is fire, we need to put off the fire first. Then we can investigate, who started the fire!
