It's a problem. Use a Kydex holster inside the waistband, Blade Tech is a good one. You'll still need a cover garment, though. If you have a rigid posture, a t-shirt might work for you, but a pistol that large kind of keeps you confined to a behind the hip carry with some sort of cover garment.
Cross draw is an option, but is difficult with a weapon of that size because bits of you might get in the way. It's the price you pay for carrying a full-size service auto. For the times you absolutely can't carry a pistol that size, a Scadium 340 PD S&W is a nice alternative.

I'm a fairly large man but ... how do I carry a colt government .45 auto in the summertime without attracting attention. It's legal but ...
I have a state carry permit. In winter/cool weather it's no problem. In summer? Blousy Hawaiian shirts are not so popular in this part of the country.
