For, but It's tricky, voting for the treaty simplifies many governmental processes and opens the borders. If used correctly, allows the EU to become a more coherent economic, political, and military force. If used improperly, has the potential to centralize government, taking power and individuality away from separate countries.

How would you vote on the Lisbon Treaty?
Ireland is going to the polls for a second time this Friday to decide whether or not to ratify the Lisbon Treaty. If given the chance, how would you vote? What do you think of Europe's future with or without the Treaty and what do you think of the people being asked to vote again so soon?
