And not too long ago @shadowbear when sniffing around to see if anyone had gotten a Mahalo tattoo yet.

Well... I recently spoke with @tealmyster and she has agreed to get a Mahalo tattoo if someone comes up with a cool design. The only stipulation is that she wants to put it on her ankle.

I was trying to work on something that included your black belt if you so wish, and I found this.
Not exactly what you're looking for, but you can change it up to fit what you want. Maybe put the hula girl in the middle there if you like that, or just the flower and "Mahalo"
Alternatively, you could go for more of a look that is true to the Mahalo format and have a solid black line going around your ankle, representing your black belt. The the word Mahalo above it, on the outside, wrapping a little bit inward.
Just some random thoughts, so if you don't like any of these, just toss them out! I'll keep thinking!

Well, the nice thing about it, is that the word "mahalo" is just a word that goes beyond this site. Kind of like having 'love' across one set of knuckles and 'hate' across another doesn't really mean you spend all your time at love.com and hate.com.

Not a very helpful answer to the question, old boy.
Besides, simply because, in your opinion "tattoos aren't kosher," and "even if some tattoos were okay" doesn't mean that they don't have meaning and importance to others. It's critical to point out that tattoos are an outward expression of things that are important to an individual. Simply because you don't agree that a certain tattoo isn't up your alley doesn't make it okay to be a Debbie Downer about the question that the rest of us are really enjoying.
That's why I voted your answer unhelpful.
We have discussed tattoos at more length elsewhere. I have made the basic and most important point once again. You can't change tattoos. For that reason you should only get tattoos, if at all, of things that will be relevant and personal for your entire lifetime. Mahalo is not a suitable subject for a tattoo for that reason.

Attn: Mahalo devs / staff / creatives: is the 'Mahalo' font available to download or was it made in house? I would like to see how 'Tealmyster' would look in that font.... or 'Bunnyphuphu' for that matter, since I'm still thinking about getting a tattoo for me too! Please let us know!
