This is from Mahalo's The Simpsons Game Walkthrough:
1. You find God at the top of the stairs. He turns out to be a gamer and challenges you to a game of "Dance Dance Evolution" (a pun on "Dance Dance Revolution").
2. There are three rounds. There will be characters coming down, and you have to press the control pad in the corresponding direction. So if a character is walking down to the up arrow, press up on the control pad. There are three rounds.

I remember answering this question before, but I can't find it now. This is from Mahalo's The Simpsons Game Walkthrough:
